Lauren L Yacht Available for Charter At Cannes Film Festival
By timbaysinger • • Category: News & Noteworthy, YachtingWith the 63rd Cannes Film Festival fast approaching, the motor yacht Lauren L has become available for charter.
Formerly named Constellation, this yacht was renovated in 2008; it was originally built in Germany by Cassens Werft in 2004. Owner Andreas Liveras invested millions into the new design and fitted the luxury liner with a spa, beauty salon, and even a helipad.
With twenty cabins, there is room enough for up to forty people to spend a night, and room for more than fifty all together. Each cabin comes with the best in futuristic technology and state-of-the-art features. The cabins are separated into ten staterooms and ten luxury cabins. Inside the staterooms are adjustable twin beds, personal bathrooms, computers, and a multimedia entertainment package and mini-bar; the luxury cabins feature the same, but also add a salon.
As for the owner’s suite, measuring 78 square meters it also includes a separate conference room, lounge, dressing room, walk-in wardrobe, and a Jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. Three additional VIP cabins feature the same as the luxury cabins, but are 10 square meters larger.
When not lounging in those spacious rooms, the main saloon features Alcantara leather sofas that sit around an Ottomeister grand piano. Leading out to the aft deck is the bar, surrounded by Rosenthal glass sculptures. In the dining room, tables are laid with silver cutlery from Sambonet of Italy and Carrs of London. Aside from glass sculptures, Rosenthal also designed crystal glassware exclusively for the Lauren L. A Swiss trained doctor is on the boat all times, as is a minimum of one crew member for each passenger on board.
Booked through Charterworld, the Lauren L goes for a weekly rate of €770,000. The Cannes Film Festival takes place from May 12-23; director Tim Burton is expected to be this year’s President of the Jury.
