Richard Mille has long been a supporter of the automobile racing industry. His many F1-inspired watches, especially driver Felipe Massa, attest to his love for the track.

For the fifth time, the luxury watchmaker will be on hand at the famed Le Mans Classic (taking place July 9-11). As a primary sponsor and official timekeeper, the series is the ideal marquee event to unveil a new timepiece: The RM 010 Le Mans Classic Special Edition.

Featuring a 24-hour format displayed at the two o’clock mark, this special edition’s ground breaking innovations pay homage to the Le Mans Classic and its four hundred automobiles and drivers and who will relay during the 24 hours of the event. An exclusive Richard Mille concept, the automatic-winding skeleton movement with an integrated variable-geometry rotor allows for movement that adapts to your activity.

Fitted in green, white, and red – the official colors of the race – each is constructed entirely by hand. With an approach that is similar to one of creating a racing car, this sporty timepiece keeps the spirit of the legendary race alive.

This limited edition of 150 will be available in titanium, white gold, or red gold; price has yet to be revealed.
