Own the Road with Brabham Racing’s €342,000 Super Car
By timbaysinger • • Category: Automobile, News & NoteworthyVoted the Best Super Car of 2009 at London’s luxury car show, Salon Privé, the Veritas RSIII 5.0 V10 Roadster is going into production for 2010.
With a ten cylinder engine and its height-adjustable sports chassis, this street demon can get up to 215 mph and give you that “true race feeling.” It comes with a seven speed SMG or if you prefer, a six speed manual transmission.
The typical shark’s mouth and aggressive looking Xenon twin headlights, tapered inward-contoured side sills, and the flat tail with two central stainless steel tailpipes pointing upward contrast with the asymmetric roll bar integrated into the bodywork on the driver’s side. A rear-view mirror extending into the center of the vehicle, riveted or chrome-plated bodywork elements, and the distinctive jagged taillights give the car the sleek look that car enthusiasts love.
The roadster sports four independent wheels fitted with 12.5 or 10.5 inch wide, 22 inch, five point star, drop center rims. Brabhams racing high performance break system works with Öhlins’ coilover suspension featuring personalized settings to provide a safe and secure ride.
The Veritas RSIII is a rare edition; only 30 vehicles will be produced and five have already been sold. Each one will undergo sophisticated hand production by manufacturer Vermot AG in Gelsdorf.
Price is set at €342,000 ($500,000+). Deliveries start in January 2010, prospective buyers can contact Michael Trick directly at Vermot AG.
