By timbaysinger • Feb 26th, 2010 • Category: Automobile, News & NoteworthyAt next week’s Geneva Motor Show, Novitec Rosso will unveil their latest tuning package for the Ferrari, the Race 848.
Based off the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano, the 848 sports a 12 cylinder twin-compressor engine that produces 848 hp – 40 hp more than the GTB Fiorano – and a peak torque of 842 Nm. Fast doesn’t even begin to describe the sleek item, 0-100km/h in under 3.4 seconds. You be the judge. The Race 848 has already been labeled as one of the world’s fastest-sprinting sports cars.
This limited edition of only three has its own brand of carbon-fiber paddles that are longer than normal to allow for quicker and more precise gear shifting with its six-speed F1-Superfast transmission. Novitec Rosso also reprogrammed the engine circuits, modified the peripherals, and fitted the mechanical chargers with modified turbine blades.
Inside this beauty is a limited edition plaque that features the cars serial number. The interior is fitted to your exact specifications so whether you choose to go with the classy, ultra-luxurious style or more of a Spartan racing flair, you get your way.
Pricing has not been announced yet, but it’s sure to cost a few bucks.
