Karl Lagerfeld Blessed $339,000 Safe
By timbaysinger • Mar 2nd, 2010 • Category: Consumer Technology, News & NoteworthyDesigner Karl Lagerfeld and safe experts Döttling have joined forces to give you the Narcissus, the next level of security.
Developed over a 24 month period, this bespoke safe measures six feet high and roughly one foot deep. With an outer shell constructed out of stainless steel, it is sheathed in a high-gloss chrome-plated aluminum. Weighing 800 kilos (1,764 lb), this fortress will only allow access to those you choose.
When activated, the doors fling open to reveal interior cabinets containing watch winders and jewelry drawers.
With a price of $339,000 and the fact that only 30 will be produced – one of which will go to Lagerfeld himself – this safe is among the world’s most exclusive.
