German Tuner Refines the Bentley Continental
By timbaysinger • May 5th, 2010 • Category: Automobile, News & NoteworthyWheelsandmore, the German individual tuner for sports and super-sports cars, has refitted a Bentley Continental into the Wheelsandmore Bentley Ultrasports 702.
Already the fastest and most powerful sportscoupe ever produced by Bentley, the Continental Supersports pumped out 630 hp; a tweak to the ECU and brand-new exhaust was able to increase its output to an astonishing 702 hp. The German tuner was also able to raise the torque from 590 lb-ft to 650 lb-ft. With its 6 liter W 12 engine with twin turbochargers, the Ultrasports 702 can get up 209 mph.
Not stopping there, Wheelsandmore placed a set of 21-inch, 3 piece modular rims on Dunlop Sport Maxx tires, and dropped the height of the vehicle to lower than 8 inches with an electroncially adjustable suspension system, nicknamed “LowMaXX.”
No word on the price yet, but Bentley’s Continental Supersports costs upwards of $300,000.
