Codecasa Unveils New 50m Superyacht

Codecasa Shipyard recently unveiled their new 50-meter superyacht. Designed in collaboration with naval architect Andre Bacigalupo, the 50s is currently in its final design stages.

This new open-style superyacht stands out due to its large increase in both size and volume from its predecessors, the 35m, 41m, and 45m editions. Featuring an extra full deck – which moves the wheelhouse up one level – the 50s boasts increased interior space while also giving a big upgrade to the exterior deck area. The main deck features a vast saloon as well as a spacious full-beam owner’s cabin that connects to the gymnasium on the lower deck. Meanwhile, the bottom level is dedicated to guest accommodations, tender storage and crew areas.

The older models from the Italian luxury shipyard focused more on elegance and its appearance (namely the “vintage series”). Codecasa designed the 50s with an increased attention to performance. Not completely disregarding its appearance, the 50s features a simple, yet sleek “sporty” look.

Price has not yet been announced, but the 50s will be available with a choice of three engine options: twin or triple MTU 12V 4000 M93L diesels or triple MTU 16V 2000 M94 diesels.
