To commemorate Bottega Veneta’s opening of a new boutique in Taipei, the luxury design house will come out with a limited edition knot handbag.

Named the Taipei Knot, this handbag will available exclusively through the new store; only 50 will be produced. Sporting shades of york, cigar, and truffle, the patchwork of the handbag comprises of 25 separate pieces of leather. Each one will numbered and feature the inscription “Taipei 2010″.

The new boutique is situated in the Bellavita mall, and stretches out 3,200 square feet. Offering a broad range of Bottega Veneta’s amazing designs, this new flagship features ready-to-wear men’s and women’s small leather goods, handbags, luggage, fine jewelry, porcelain, and furniture.

No word on price yet, but you can expect the Taipei Knot to cost more than the current range of $1,100-$4,000 for their knot handbags.
