Beyer 18K Yellow Gold Automatic Perpetual Calender Watch at Sotheby’s for $150/250,000

This is the first piece that contains a red dot leap-year indicator to come to auction, as well as the first from the Zurich-based boutique. Estimated at $150/250,000, this lovely timepiece is the “bell of the ball.”
Also up for sale are two watches that are estimated at $80/120,000 each: Richard Mille’s RM 003, Platinum Tonneau Tourbillon Dual Time Zone Wristwatch with Power Reserve and Torque Indication (2007) and A Lange & Söhne’s Fine Platinum Limited Edition Tourbillon Wristwatch with Date and Power Reserve, with No. 110/150 Lange 1 Tourbillon (2000).
Taking place in New York, this sale will provide a chance at owning a vast array of selections that range from contemporary wristwatches to vintage collector’s pieces to Art Deco desk clocks. All of these stunning pieces – most of which have never been seen at auction – will be displayed publicly at Sotheby’s New York galleries on April 14th.
