Argentinian Organic Winery On Market for $1.5 Million
By Alex Neely • • Category: News & Noteworthy, Real EstateNestled in the southern region of Argentina’s Mendoza province, a certified organic winery is on the open market. For $1.5 million (negotiable), the property includes over 100-acres – 50-acres certified organic – of vineyards, a tourist boutique hotel, and a restaurant.
At 50-acres, the organic certified vineyard includes merlot, malbec, semillion, syrah, chenin, and ugni Blanc. In addition, the property encompasses 85-acres of vineyards which include 18.5 acres of muscatel, Pedro Jimenez, and syrah; 45-acres of cabernet, syrah, Chenin Blanc, chardonnay, pink muscatel, and Pedro Jimenez grapes; and 27-acres in malbec.
The organic section of the vineyard can produce 200,000 bottles of white wine and 100,000 bottles of red wine annually, increasing the vineyards capacity to an estimated 1.2 million liters.
This winery comes fully equipped with a bottling & labeling line, refrigeration equipment, pumps & storage tanks, wine presses, a forklift, crates, and all other miscellaneous inventory necessary for elaboration.
Acting as the centerpiece of the winery, the Posada Hotel features eight newly renovated rooms. Beneath the hotel, the designer created a rustic ambiance, fusing old oak barrels into wood floors, and creating an underground brick tunnel between the hotel, restaurant, and wine tasting rooms.
The restaurant, which is now in operation, offers set-menu dining of local cuisine at roughly $20.
If approached properly, this luscious landscape has the potential to allow any buyer to tap into organic wine – the fastest growing market in wine sales. For more information or any questions, contact Byron Lutz at (561-582-7801).
