Alfra Vico Power Yacht the Ultimate Weekender for $2.3 Million
By timbaysinger • • Category: News & Noteworthy, YachtingBuilt by Founder/CEO Barrett Prelogar – who has almost 40 years of experience – and designer Franco Marino Cognina, the Alfra Vico Marino 52 is for the boat enthusiasts who desire quality over quantity at every possible touch.
Alfra Vico’s newest creation boasts overnight accommodations that rival those of 5-star hotels. The lower cabin features a master suite with a full kitchen/grill, wine bar, dining lounge, and an office workstation. An optional crew quarters is available if you want to relax and let someone else do the driving.
Up top the deck has a sunpad at the rear, a gallery and entertainment center behind the captain’s helm, and two stunning pop-out recliners in the front. Able to entertain a crowd of 15-18 people during the day, the upper deck also places the captain’s helm in the center, instead of far port or far starboard, to make sure the captain stays in the middle of the action.
One of the more amazing facts is that the Marino 52 is built without the use of mainstream parts. Aside from the engines and drives, the integrated electronic controls for dockage positioning, throttle management, steering and maneuvering, anchorage, line management, HVAC, water, and entertainment systems are custom engineered from scratch.
The vessel is currently in the production engineering and prototyping process and plans to be unveiled at late 2011 yacht shows.
Prelogar estimates the Marino 52 will cost anywhere between $2.3 million and $2.7 million, depending on power appointments and interior finish selections.
Owners of this vessel will definitely be in select company; only 12-20 boats will be produced each year.
Alfra Vico is currently taking deposits and can also be contacted directly to discuss payment options.
