To commemorate the 40th anniversary of Apollo 11′s historic journey to the moon, Tashen Books is releasing the Marc Newson Lunar Rock Edition of Norman Mailer’s MoonFire: The Epic Journey of Apollo 11.

This limited edition of 12 copies comes in a case designed by Newson, who was inspired by the Apollo 11 Lunar Excursion Model. Built out of a single piece of aluminum, the case is an exact 3-D representation of the moon’s surface.

This collection comes with a unique piece of lunar rock, which is one of the rarest substances on the earth, and a print signed by Buzz Aldrin. Each piece of lunar rock differs in size, weight, density, and color.

Price starts at €60,000, and depending on the size of lunar rock you request, it can get as a high as €480,000. Whomever purchases that one also gets a private dinner in Los Angeles with Buzz Aldrin himself.
