$93,200 Cosmos Motorcycle Features Four Wheels

Part James Bond…Part Batman.

Engineer Amadeu Ferreira Júnior has decided that two wheels are not enough for his latest creation.  Providing motor enthusiasts with something a little different, Ferreira added two extra wheels to create the Cosmos 4WRF V8.

This speed demon ditches the standard V-twin power train and instead goes with a Corvette ZZ4 Crate engine that produces 355 hp.  Also sporting a mono-block chassis, the motorcycle has a three-speed transmission with reverse gear capability.

Each of the four 17in wheels is mounted independently, and are placed close together, separating it from the design of a typical quadracycle, who’s wheels are farther apart.  The wheels are designed so that each pair works in unison; the front wheels are connected to the hub steering system.

Each model is built specifically for each customer, going as far as taking into account the buyer’s height, weight, arm and leg length, and shoe size.  A name and number accompany every bike. Cosmos even allows the buyers to visit the manufacturer once every fifteen days.

Price is set at $93,200 and takes six months to assemble.  Only 49 models will be produced.
