$91,700 Vyrus Motorcycle World’s Most Powerful
By Tim Baysinger • Feb 3rd, 2010 • Category: Automobile, News & NoteworthyItalian manufacturer Vyrus has just created the world’s most powerful production motorcycle, the 987 C3 4V.
Weighing in at only 158 kg, the bike boasts a reported 211 hp from its Ducati-inspired 1198cc V-twin engine. Headed up by Ascanio Rodorigo – who worked on the Massimo Tamburini at Bitoma back in the 1980s – this ride is full of the latest innovations and incredible attention to detail. Coming in at $91,700, Vyrus also has three other versions of the 987.
The base model 984 C3 2V comes with a two valve 1000DS Ducati engine and weighs just 150 kg ($47,000). Next, the 985 C3 4V, which weighs in at 157 kg, uses a 999R water-cooled Testastretta Ducati engine ($70,500). Second from top is the 155 kg 987 C3 4V which uses a water-cooled 1098R 1198cc Ducati engine ($77,500).
This bike is so exclusive that one cannot be ordered until June, but trust me those four months will be worth the wait.
