$400,000 Dual Tow Ready for Black Tie Affair
By timbaysinger • Feb 2nd, 2010 • Category: Horology, News & NoteworthyDual Tow, which was released early last year by watchmaker Christophe Claret, has unveiled a new version in a black and white tuxedo style.
This new combination of colors represents titanium as a material for the complex watch case. Claret’s workshop has innovative machines that are not found anywhere else. The watch case is made up of about 67 parts and is cut using their 17 axis cutting machine.
To ensure that the belts on this piece will hold up over time, each one is stress tested to simulate over sixty years of usage.
Price starts at $400,000. This limited edition of 63 is already able to be purchased online through their unique customization tool where you can select a wide range of colors and materials.
