Chateau Lafite 1982 Estimated to Sell for $35,000 at Sotheby’s

With this year’s recent auction success of Chateau Lafites, Sotheby’s is now scheduled to auction the rarest Lafite vintage: 1982. In addition to the 1982 vintage, Sotheby’s will offer famed classics from standout years such as 1945, 1959, and 1961.

Amid the notables, Sotheby’s catalogue will feature Chateau Petrus 2005 ($14,000-$20,000), Domaine De La Romanee-Conti Assortment 1991 ($15,000-$25,000), 1985 First Growth Imperial Superlot ($18,000-$30,000), Domaine De La Romanee-Conti Assortment 1985 ($20,000-$30,000), Chateau Latour 1982 ($20,000-$30,000), and Domaine De La Romanee-Conti Assortment 1990 ($25,000-$30,000).

Although the live sale will take place June 5th at 10am, individuals will have the opportunity to indulge in a pre-sale tasting of the catalogue’s highlights on June 3rd from 6pm to 7pm at 1334 York Avenue, NY. Priced at $75, tickets can be reserved at 212-606-7050.
